Racquel White

Racquel White is a leader in global Strategic Communications, Government Affairs, Reputation Management, Stakeholder Engagement, and Crisis Management

Racquel is the Vice President of Corporate Affairs for Royal Canin North America, a division of Mars Inc.

Previously, Racquel was CEO of Spherol, a boutique, global consultancy focused on helping entities position themselves and their reputations with all key stakeholders:  Media, Governments, NGOs and Employees.  Spherol takes a 360o approach to the work of its clients, enabling the right strategic, cohesive messaging at the right time to the right audiences for the right purpose.  Racquel has led major brands through a variety of crises and positions them for success, bringing this extensive experience and a global network to her clients.  

Racquel has served as Chief Communications, Brand and Public Affairs Officer at Diversey, focused on the commercial cleaning industry. While at Newell Brands as the Vice President of Communications, Culture and Engagement, she led Corporate Communications for the company and its 150 brands, including Sharpie, Yankee Candle, Graco, Papermate, Calphalon and others.  Before Newell, Racquel led Communications, Government Affairs, Sustainability and Diversity for Cox Automotive, representing AutoTrader.com, Kelly Blue Book, Manheim and a host of automotive technology brands.  

Racquel spent the 12 years prior at The Coca-Cola Company in roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Internal and Executive Communications for North America where she created the company’s first Employee Ambassador Program.  While living in Istanbul working in Coke’s Eurasia & Africa Group, she was responsible for Communications Strategy and Implementation across 90 countries (including the countries of the Middle East, Africa, as well as Russia, Ukraine, India and Israel).  Racquel also had the pleasure of leading Communications, Government Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, while living in Johannesburg. Other highlights in her Coca-Cola career have included leading European Shareowner Affairs, the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Greece, and Africa Fashion Week.

Racquel began her corporate career at Marriott International focused on internal and customer communications.

Racquel received an MA in Public Communications and a BA in Spanish/Latin American Studies, both from The American University.  She is a native of Tampa, Florida, and currently lives in New Jersey.
