Michael Adcock is president of Adcock-Adcock Property & Casualty Agency Inc. since 1974 and president of the John Adcock Insurance Agency since 2002.
Adcock currently serves as Chairman of the Board for First Citrus Bank and Chairman of the Florida College Leadership Committee.
A career filled with honors too many to name, Adcock is a graduate of Leadership Tampa’s class of 1992, served as VP of the ProfessionalInsurance Agents of Florida, was a Member of the Gold Jacket Club Hall of Fame Bowl and is a past President of the Tampa Bay Auburn Club.
Adcock remains a strong advocate for education and was the original Chairman of the Tampa Bay Auburn Club Scholarship Golf Tournament Committee and has served on the Scholarship Committee of the Prentis S. Howard Scholarship Foundation. Mike also served on the Auburn University School of Business Advisory Committee.
A proud American Spirit Honor Medal recipient, Adcock was awarded in 1968 as the outstanding basic trainee at Lackland Air Force Base.
Adcock earned his Bachelor of Science from Auburn University. A long time member of First Presbyterian Church and Rotary Club of Tampa, Adcock is married with two children who both graduated Auburn University.
Adcock knew Moses White since he was a child and saw the very close friendship Moses White had with his father “Big John” Adcock. The families remain closely tied by the memories of these two giant men and the memories they are making today.
