Andre R. White

Andre R. White is the President of the Moses White Foundation. He is the grandson of Moses White and the son of the Moses White Foundation’s inaugural President, Andre Moses White.

White is a native of Tampa, Florida, and an alumnus of Van Buren Junior High School and Hillsborough High School where he was a fighting Terrier Quarterback.

He graduated from Dupage College in Illinois and founded the Georgia Sentinel with his father, Andre M. White, in Atlanta, Georgia. White is a licensed architectural draftsman and founder of Savant Media, a publishing, production and promotions company, and serves as its CEO and President. Savant Media’s repertoire has included work in the grocery, music and commercial industries, diverse media platforms like his community-centered talk show and extensive community engagement.

With more than 30 years of business experience, White brings a vast network of business, political and community relationships to aid the growth and leadership of the Moses White Foundation.

Intent on following through on his father’s vision, White will continue to sustain the Foundation’s support of educational opportunities for Tampa’s at-risk, marginalized communities, as well as establish development opportunities within the community.

White has been happily married to his high school sweetheart Denise Bacon White for more than 32 years and is the proud father of two daughters Alexandria and Lauren. White resides between Atlanta and Tampa.
